“We do not see things as they are, we see things as we are.”

Values & Integrity
-
Compassion
There are many reasons people arrive where they are, whether by chance or by choice. I meet each person with compassion and without judgment.
-
Curiosity
Curiosity opens the door to understanding ourselves and others. It is a guiding practice that helps explore with openness and possibility.
-
Humility
I don’t know everything, and I am always learning. My identities shape how I see the world and how I’m seen, and I stay open to each person’s unique experience.
Across my formal education, career, and life experience, I’ve developed an identity and a set of values that informs how I engage and observe the world around me. One of my values that shows up in my practice is not operating as a ‘blank slate’. Who I am, my values, and the identities I carry inform how I show up in the room and influence the way I create the space we share .
I view my clients as the experts in their own lives. I seek to minimize the power dynamic that can sometimes exist between therapist and client. I see myself as a collaborator and co-creator; I am not here to tell you what to do or what I think is best for you. I work to guide, facilitate, equip and empower change in your life by helping you feel safe enough in your body and mind to take consistent, aligned action. We can work through conflict together. Through all our work together, my goal is to model and demonstrate a caring & adaptable therapeutic relationship.
I am committed to approaching each person with curiosity, compassion, and humility. I recognize that the systems and structures we live in shape our lives, and I aim to create a space where we can explore those influences together.
I prioritize the humanity of every person who enters my practice, and I seek to challenge oppressive structures when they show up in our work and world.
