Specialties & Approach

I practice therapy with a variety of mental health needs and concerns. Here are a few of the areas I support most often:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Body Image + Relationship to Body

  • Emotional Abuse & Neglect

  • Emotional Health & Regulation

  • Grief & Loss

  • Relationship Health

  • Loneliness

  • Self-Worth, Esteem & Confidence

  • Adverse Religious Experiences

    (Deconstruction & Exploration)

  • Trauma and Complex Trauma

  • Shame

  • Financial Stress & Scarcity

My approach is relational at its core. The connection we build together is not just the backdrop to our work, it is the work. I draw from several therapeutic modalities to meet you where you are, weaving together what's most relevant to your unique experience. This means we might explore how your past shapes your present, tune into what your emotions are trying to tell you, or build practical skills to help you feel steadier in your day-to-day life. My practice integrates mind and body, recognizing that our nervous system has its own wisdom, and that lasting change often begins there.

I love working with big, complicated emotions: anger, fear, worry, shame, the ones that can feel too heavy or too messy to look at directly. Together, we'll get curious about what they're carrying and what they need. We'll also look at the stories your mind constructs and work toward a fuller, more compassionate and centered sense of who you are.

And when it's time, we'll take small but significant steps toward change because action, even (and especially) in the face of fear, is where confidence and courage are built. Therapy is a collaboration. You bring the expertise of your own life and I bring tools, perspective, and a steady presence alongside you.

the vibes

Sessions are a mix of client-lead and directed conversations, addressing what has come up since we last connected and where you need support. Other times, I’ll take more of a structured approach, facilitating the time based on discussed goals and needs. As possible, we’ll use the time to directly practice skills or strategies together in real time.

We cuss, we laugh, we can talk pop culture or weather for a few minutes before settling in. I’ve had clients reflect to me that the space feels open for pushback, feedback, and redirection.
I curate an environment that allows you to be yourself.
